Spruce wood, as all biosourced materials, is very sensitive to relative humidity changes, which can cause dimensional variations. In some cases, it leads eccentricity, degradation and deterioration of the wooden structures. The 3D methods evaluation spruce wood hydric behavior needs important financial resources investigation. That’s why, main objective this study develop technics 2D digital image correlation estimate local displacements strains values under solicitations follow hysteresis phenomenon, anisotropy swelling coefficient. context, cycles sorption - desorption for that vary from 0 100% were applied. Results represent coefficients early- latewood a function directions. A particular attention was devoted uncertainty both earlywood latewood. This provides literature future research with promising results especially concerning evolution microscopic morphology materials when exposed variations, significantly affect their macroscopic behavior.
